Mme de la Haltière. You must make the folds of her dress
Pandolfe. Please congratulate me, that I'm on hand so early!
Mme de la Haltière, Noémie, Dorothée, Pandolfe. We've position, we have distinction, and ambition!
Scene V: Cinderella. Ah! But my sisters are happy!
Cinderella. Stay by the hearth, poor cricket, stay
Cinderella. How bright the moon is glowing!

Scene VI: The Fairy. Dearest child, think'st thou that I care not

The Fairy. It's my desire this charming maiden you see there

Scene II: Prince Charming. Heart void of love, and Spring bare of flowers!
Scene III: Entrance of the King. My son, my commands pray fulfil

Cinderella. Alas! 'twas all a dream!
Scene II: Voices of young girls. Come, throw your doors and windows wide
Cinderella, Pandolfe. The Spring has come
Scene III: Entrance of Mme de la Haltière. Advance! Recede!
Mme de la Haltière. You must know that this day
Voice of the Herald. Good people, you are apprised
Cinderella. And so my dream was true!
Second Tableau. At the King's Palace. The Court of Honour
The March of the Princesses
The Crowd. All hail! The Princesses!
Prince Charming. Set down within its shrine, upon its flow'ry bed
The Fairy. Prince Charming, see! Open your eyes!
Cinderella. And you are Prince Charming, 'tis true!
Pandolfe and the Chorus. Here all ends well, you see. And so we end our play
