Der Querschnitt durch die Salongesellschaft des Beispieljahres 1794/95 macht eine Geselligkeitskultur sichtbar, in der sehr verschiedene Orte zu „Salons" werden konnten, und in der Gäste und Gastgeberinnen (wieder) zu entdecken sind.
